I've noticed some concerning things over the years - especially given my awareness of toxicology and environmental medicine.
While the 4th of July is an impressive display during a brilliant time of year, there are some things you should be aware of.
Concern #1: While fireworks are fun, brilliant and gorgeous to watch, the smoke they create is not healthy at all.
Solution: Be upwind from the smoke as much as possible. Hold your breath when the smoke comes billowing your way. Taking a capsule of N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine supports your liver's ability to remove inhaled chemicals and compounds from the fireworks.
