Product Description
Conjugated linoleic acid is a compound naturally occurring in grass fed beef and dairy products that has been shown in studies to have profound health benefits. The effects of CLA are quite different from those of harmful linoleic acid and in fact may provide a natural counter-balance to the potentially harmful actions of too much linoleic acid. The standard “American” diet generally contains far too many omega-6 linoleic acids.
Conjugated linoleic acid has been shown to have an effect on fat metabolism and immune system function. Other conditions & health concerns that conjugated linoleic acid has shown therapeutic potential for include:
- Cancer
- Diabetes
- Artherosclerosis
- Inflammation
CLA also exerts antioxidant-like activity that helps keep excessive cell proliferation in check. Seeking Health CLA provides 1000 mg of conjugated linoleic acid per capsule. Seeking Health Conjugated Linoleic Acid is derived from safflower oil and contains 78% total CLA with a minimum concentration of 74% biologically active isomers most commonly associated with physiological effect. Vitamin E is added to maintain freshness by protecting the lipid components from oxidation.

- Which supplement would you recommend for CLA - I have seen a few different brands.
Have followed a protocol from you and am doing great - just need to loose a few more pounds and was reading CLA is very helpful.
Would appreciate any additional info and recommendations. - Hi - Sorry for the delay. I was researching CLA. I am not very versed in it and wanted to find out more before I wrote back. The supplements you may have seen are similar, but the difference is capsule type, flow agents and potency. I recommend you consider taking CLA 1000mg 100 capsules by Seeking Health. Great to hear that you are doing overall much better. The CLA does seem to be effective for weight loss. I am also researching another nutrient to assist with weight loss and once I find out more, I will let you know. In health, Dr Ben
