Folinic Acid Lozenges by Seeking Health provide 1,360 mcg DFE (800 mcg) of pure, bioavailable folate as folinic acid calcium salt per lozenge. This form of folate (vitamin B9) quickly converts to L-methylfolate, the predominant form of folate in circulation in the body. It may be easier for individuals who are sensitive to methylated nutrients to tolerate than supplemental L-methylfolate. Folate is essential for cell division, growth, and the formation of new red blood cells. Folinic acid can easily convert to any of the other active forms of folate as needed in the body.*

Suggested Use

Take 1 lozenge daily or as directed by your healthcare professional. Lozenge may be broken into smaller pieces if lower dosage is desired. Do not take within 5 hours of bedtime as it may interfere with sleep.

I can tolerate it!!

After trying different methyl folates and have very very bad reactions, i was nervous to try this folinic acid. But i have had no problems and actually enjoy the taste of this lozenge. Im looking forward to finally getting the right levels of folate for my body.

Perfect for Methyl - Intolerance

I'm going to copy my review of Hydroxo B12; as I take that and this Folinic Acid at the same time.

I am heterozygous A1298C, along with likely many other relevant SNPs. I tried the Methylated B12 and Folate many times under a controlled test run and concluded that I cannot tolerate Methylated supplements very well. The most obvious symptoms were aggravation and irritation for no other apparent reasons. Per Dr. Bens recommendations and other reason I have now tried 2 test runs of Hydroxo B12 paired with Folinic Acid (Folate) and PROBLEM SOLVED. No random aggression or irritation and energy levels significantly more stable. My diet/supplements/lifestyle choices are very controlled, as well. Thanks Seeking Health and Dr. Ben.

PS: Consider the Strategene Test. It's on sale and I promise will be worth every penny. I printed out my entire report and study it every week.

In a day and age where the people who should be looking out for us are actively NOT, its up to US and people we can trust to lead us toward healing our bodies and being the best we can be.
