Who Needs ProBiota Infant

Does your baby experience occasional gas, bloating, or constipation?

These are often common problems for infants. Your baby shouldn’t have to suffer with these uncomfortable sensations. That’s why we created ProBiota Infant. These baby probiotics are popular with parents and pediatricians alike!

ProBiota Infant is made up of a special mix of Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus, and Inulin. These prebiotic and probiotic supplements support your baby’s digestive system and gut health.

This daily probiotic is designed to support your baby if they occasionally experience any of the following:

  • Stomach discomfort
  • Gas and bloating
  • Constipation

Let’s take a closer look at the gastrointestinal health benefits of inulin and these probiotic strains:

  • Inulin is a prebiotic sourced from chicory root. It helps support colonization of probiotics into your baby’s gut microbiome.
  • Bifidobacterium is a good bacteria. This probiotic strain helps break down carbohydrates and supports your baby’s microbiome. It also helps support your baby’s immune system and histamine response.
  • Lactobacillus is a beneficial bacteria that helps digest dairy and carbohydrates. Amongst many things, this probiotic strain has been found to support a healthy immune system.

ProBiota Infant helps populate healthy gut bacteria. It also helps support proper nutrient absorption and a healthy pediatric immune system. This baby probiotic powder can conveniently be placed into food or mixed with liquids.

When looking for good baby probiotics, Seeking Health has done extensive research. We’ve done the work to find the best probiotics for your little one.

One of the best infant probiotics

The TCM practitioner we work with recommended this product to us for our son. I love that it's so clean. Many other brands use all sorts of fillers and other unnecessary ingredients. This is my fave infant probiotic so far. ~Jessica B.

Key Ingredients In ProBiota Infant

  • Inulin: A prebiotic sourced from chicory root that helps to “feed” and support normal colonization of the probiotics in the intestinal tract
  • Bifidobacterium species: Supports the healthy breakdown of carbohydrates, immune system function and normal response to histamine. Makes up 80% of the microbial species in an infant’s microbiome
  • Lactobacillus species: Healthy immune system, digestion of dairy and carbohydrates, and normal response to histamine are supported with this species.

Why ProBiota Infant Works

Healthy microbes contribute to healthy humans. When a child is developing in the uterus, they are not exposed to many microbes. During the last trimester, mothers appear to colonize a tremendous amount of organisms in their colon in preparation for childbirth. In the birthing process, children are exposed to many different microbes from their mothers’ colon and vaginal canal. This will assist in colonizing the intestinal tract of the infant.

Once the intestinal tract is colonized, breastfeeding provides very selective substances to feed the microbes of the infant. In fact, the third most common substances in breastmilk (by volume) are substances referred to as Human Milk Oligosaccharides or HMOs. These carbohydrates cannot be digested by the infant at all. Instead, these HMOs have been found to be very specific prebiotics that selectively feed certain types of bifidobacterium.

As an infant, up to 80% of the microbes in the intestinal tract of breastfed babies will be bifidobacterium.

The particular bacteria that are colonized after vaginal births and breastfeeding have shown to be supportive of the infants overall health.

As a result, research indicates that babies that are vaginally born and breastfed have healthier respiratory systems, fewer skin irritations, sensitivities, and other immune associated conditions. However, breastfeeding and vaginal births are not always possible.

Fortunately, ProBiota Infant was developed to help support the normal colonization of healthy organisms in the infants intestinal tract.

The combination of the prebiotic inulin, and probiotics bifidobacterium and lactobacillus help support the normal introduction of beneficial organisms to the infant. These beneficial organisms support the intestinal tract with the following:

  • Normal digestion
  • Production of amino acids and B vitamins
  • Immune system development
  • Protection of the intestinal tract from harmful infectious organisms

The use of probiotics has been shown in research to not only support digestive health but also promote the development of a healthy immune system.

Support your baby’s health today with ProBiota Infant.

How to Enhance ProBiota Infant

1

Healthy Moms = Healthy Babies

If you are breastfeeding, you will be feeding your baby all of the necessary building blocks for their life through your breastmilk. It is important to make sure a healthy diet is chosen and proper postnatal nutrition is considered. Lean on your support team to assist you in getting adequate sleep and lower your stress during these times. Both have been shown to improve your mood, your breastmilk nutrition, and the health of your baby.

2

Pairs Well With

Consider Optimal Prenatal Powder for the breastfeeding mother, to replenish nutrients in breastmilk and for optimal breastfeeding health. Consider adding Lactase Drops to breast milk if there is a concern of lactose intolerance in your baby. Consider Optimal Electrolyte for the mother to support adequate hydration and water balance from lost electrolytes during breastfeeding.

3

Minimize Inflammatory Foods

Foods such as cow dairy, gluten, cane sugar and foods you are sensitive to which will help to reduce inflammatory cytokines in the breast milk and support optimal health of your baby. If you are feeding with other milk, consider goat milk formula instead of cow’s milk. If you are feeding formula, consider organic, non-GMO formula to eliminate inflammatory pesticides.
