How to Use Optimal Multivitamin Chewable

Suggested Use

Chew 2 tablets daily with food or use as directed by your healthcare professional. Do not take within 5 hours of bedtime as it may interfere with sleep. Please note that while this formula is popular for children over the age of 4, it is best to consult with your healthcare professional for the correct dosage for your child. Consult with a healthcare professional to determine dose and suitability for children under 4 years of age.

Warnings

Children and pregnant or lactating women should consult their healthcare practitioner prior to use. Do not use if tamper seal is damaged. Avoid if allergic to any ingredient.

It is recommended not to exceed 1,500 mcg (5,000 IU) intake per day of preformed vitamin A (retinol or retinyl forms).

Evaluate your total vitamin K intake from food and dietary supplements. If you are on medications for blood-thinning or any other reason, or undergoing treatment for any medical condition, consult a healthcare professional prior to use.

WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison control center immediately.
Niacin Flushing: This formula contains niacin. When taken on an empty stomach, a healthy response to niacin supplementation may include mild blushing, warming, or tingling of the skin. This can appear on the ears, face, arms, torso, or occasionally on the legs. Commonly referred to as a "niacin flush", this harmless response normally dissipates within an hour. It is related to niacin's role in vasodilation (widening of blood vessels). Vasodilation leads to better circulation, capillary flushing, and increased blood flow to the surface of the skin. To minimize or prevent flushing, consider taking this supplement with food or in divided doses.†

Dr. Ben Lynch recommends using certain dietary supplements based on your need for them. Start with a partial serving and increase slowly over time to the full serving, only if needed. Great kids multivitamin

This product has been great for my 5 year old (started when she was 4). Even though they are a larger vitamin She can easily chew them at her own pace. She never complains about the flavor either. I am Confident that she is getting all the essential vitamins and appropriate amounts in this multivitamin. I also give my 2.5 year old one single chewable when needed.
