Who Needs Optimal Glutathione Plus Lozenge

While Dr. Lynch thinks this glutathione supplement may benefit almost anyone, let’s get specific.

Assess each statement below. If you relate to one or more, then Optimal Glutathione Plus Lozenges may be the glutathione supplement you need:

  • I want to give my kid glutathione. A glutathione lozenge seems perfect.
  • I prefer lozenges over capsules or liquids. They taste better, work faster and have a better result.
  • I often get exposed from exhaust. I travel a lot by car, train, bus, bike, or airplane. I want to support my detoxification pathways.
  • I need a great-tasting glutathione supplement that’s small and compact so I can easily take it with me.
  • I’m tired of people saying ‘Stop being so sensitive to smells’. Smells really do negatively affect me. I want to experience what it’s like to have a healthy response to odors.
  • I enjoy cooking. I cook using a gas stove, BBQ, smoker or fire. I also don’t use the hood often while I’m cooking even though I know I need to.
  • I’m often exposed to cleaning products, nail polish, new furniture, new carpets, new clothes, building materials, new cars or rubber.
  • I am around paints, oils, adhesives or other coatings.
  • I either smoke, or am around people who smoke, cigarettes, vape or various other devices.
  • I exercise regularly and tend to recover slowly. My muscles ache longer than they should and I’d like to experience healthy muscle recovery.
  • Most glutathione supplements aggravate me. I usually experience headaches or irritability. I know I need glutathione and would like to find one that works well for me.
  • I cannot stand the taste of liposomal glutathione.
  • My ability to absorb nutrients isn’t the best. I either have low stomach acid, poor gallbladder function, inflamed intestines or an unhappy microbiome.
  • I had gastric bypass surgery. I need a glutathione supplement that is easier to digest.
  • Swallowing capsules isn’t ideal for me.
  • My kid cannot swallow capsules.

If a number of those resonated with you, then Optimal Glutathione Plus is something that you should seriously consider.

If none of the statements above relate to your current life situation, then Optimal Glutathione Plus is most likely not something you need right now.

Customer Review

Clears my head!

This glutathione lozenge helped clear my head in the span of 40 seconds. I took it the way my dad told me: I put it in my mouth, bit it a couple of times, let it dissolve and then I swallowed. It also provided me with a boost of energy. ~ Theo Lynch

Key Ingredients In Optimal Glutathione Plus Lozenge

  • Emothion (S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione): This trademarked form of glutathione is researched to be more stable than other types of glutathione.
  • Selenium: This helps your body use your glutathione. If one does not have sufficient selenium, then the enzyme, glutathione peroxidase (GPX), cannot properly function. Taking glutathione without sufficient selenium is not useful.
  • Riboflavin: This B vitamin recycles damaged, and used up, glutathione by supporting your glutathione reductase (GSR) enzyme.
  • LifePQQ : Dr. Lynch added this to support the stability of glutathione. Often times people do not tolerate glutathione because they are reacting to damaged glutathione.
  • Molybdenum: People react unfavorably to glutathione because it may increase the concentration of sulfites. Molybdenum is the mineral used by the sulfite oxidase (SUOX) enzyme. A healthy SUOX enzyme helps your body eliminate sulfites.

Why Optimal Glutathione Plus Lozenge Works

Optimal Glutathione Plus Lozenges works well because:

  • It contains a researched and stable form of glutathione known as Emothion .
  • There are 4 additional and incredibly important ingredients which help your body protect, use and recycle glutathione.
  • The lozenge delivery system provides a faster result compared to swallowing a capsule.
  • The taste is excellent. If something tastes great, you will take it more thereby helping your body maintain healthy glutathione levels.
  • It supports your GPX, GST, SUOX and GSR enzymes directly. It also indirectly supports your SOD, CAT and GGT enzymes.

How to Use Optimal Glutathione Plus Lozenge

Suggested Use

Take one lozenge by mouth as needed, with or without food. Slowly chew, allow to fully dissolve, then swallow. Lozenge may be broken into smaller pieces if lower dosage is desired. Use as directed by your healthcare professional.

Do not use it within 2 hours of bedtime as it may interfere with sleep.

Since this is a lower potency glutathione supplement, pregnant women may use it as needed. Talk with your healthcare professional prior to using.

Dr. Lynch's Tips

Glutathione is an effective supplement. Use as needed or as directed.

While the dosage of glutathione in this supplement is only 25 mg per lozenge, it is still very effective. This is likely due to the lozenge delivery system.

While testing this supplement prior to going to market, the dosage of glutathione was originally at 50 mg. I found that 50 mg was too strong for about 50% of the users and that 25 mg was very well tolerated and sufficient for most users.

Personally, I do very well with 25 mg of glutathione.

The 50 mg of glutathione, when delivered by lozenge, was too strong for me and my family members.

There are four common signs that may occur from taking too much glutathione or taking it too frequently:

  • Headache
  • Irritability
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Nausea or light-headedness

If you do not already experience these, and they started after supplementing with glutathione, reduce the frequency of taking it. You may want to stop supplementing for a few days.

The reason why headaches, irritability and sleep difficulties occur is primarily due to glutamate. When taking glutathione at higher amounts, glutamate levels in your body naturally tend to increase. Glutamate is an excitatory neurotransmitter. Too much of an excitatory neurotransmitter is associated with headache, irritability and sleep difficulties.

In the event you do take too much glutathione and you are experiencing these uncomfortable feelings, consider supporting healthy glutamate levels by taking Lithium Orotate and Magnesium Plus. These nutrients are known to support healthy glutamate metabolism.

There are some days you’re exposed to more chemicals than others. These days, you likely want to support healthy glutathione levels with Optimal Glutathione Plus.

On days where your chemical exposures are low, you may not need to supplement.

There are common times that one should consider supplementing with Optimal Glutathione Plus:

  • Airplane travel. Take right as you get on the airplane.
  • Long road trips. Take as needed. The more exhaust you breathe, the more glutathione you need.
  • Prior to getting into a sauna
  • Upon waking up in the morning. Keep it on your bed stand.
  • Fuzzy, cloudy head
  • Poor memory recall occasionally
  • Reduced cognitive function periodically. Keep a bottle right on your desk at work.
  • Cooking for extended periods of time and breathing in the smoke or gas fumes.
  • After a grueling competition of any type
  • After being sick
  • After being in a hot tub or swimming pool
  • After being exposed to chemicals that bother you such as chlorine, formaldehyde, cigarette smoke, fragrances, paint, oils, gas, exhaust fumes

As always, talk with your healthcare professional.

Consult with a qualified healthcare provider for medical advice prior to use especially if you have any medical conditions. Do not use if inner tamper seal is damaged.

  • Contains more LifePQQ than the liposomal or capsule versions of Optimal Glutathione Plus.
  • Contains reduced amounts of the cofactors riboflavin, selenium, and molybdenum
  • One serving (one lozenge ) provides 25 mg of Emotion S-acetyl-L-glutathione, compared to 350 mg of reduced L-glutathione found in one serving (5 mL) of the liquid liposomal form or 100 mg of Emothion found in the capsule. This smaller serving reduces risk of side effects.
