Magnesium Malate Powder by Seeking Health provides 500 mg of magnesium (as dimagnesium malate) per serving. Magnesium is an abundant mineral naturally present in the body that acts as a cofactor in hundreds of enzymatic processes and systems. It helps to regulate biochemical reactions in the body, including protein synthesis, muscle and nerve function, and healthy blood pressure. It may help support healthy muscle relaxation by inhibiting calcium influx and smooth muscle contraction. Magnesium is important for energy production, oxidative phosphorylation, and glycolysis. It may contribute to the development and maintenance of healthy bone structure and is needed for the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and the antioxidant glutathione.*
Malic acid is found naturally in fruit and is also commonly added to food products to produce a sour or tart flavor. It is also an important intermediate in the citric acid cycle, an important biochemical series of reactions for energy generation. The combination of magnesium and malic acid may be particularly helpful for healthy energy production in the cells.*

Magnesium Malate - 100 Servings
I've only tried this a few times because I dislike the taste and texture. I need to find something in which to mix it successfully. Any suggestions?
Makes me feel good!
I love how this makes me feel! I mix it with electrolyte powder, using a small whisk, to blend it well in a 16 ounce glass of water and drink it down in the afternoon when I’m beginning to feel that afternoon slump and it picks me right up.
Gave me energy I was missing from other magnesiums
I had been taking a high-quality ionic magnesium for a couple years to repair my health during a health crisis. It did help me recover and relaxed my muscles. I turned to other forms of magnesium and decided to try this one, since it was cost-effective, free of fillers, and I could control the dose. Within a couple days of taking this magnesium malate, I felt so much more energetic overall and recovered faster from exercise sessions. I was bummed I had waited so long to try it! This energy/muscle recovery boost is a known effect of malate forms of minerals. Malate also is good if you have gallbladder issues, and can help reduce gallbladder sludge. (Apples have malate, which is why so many gallbladder cleanses/flushes tell you to eat apples for a few days beforehand.) I love SH's version of this and it's one of my core supplements.
