Histamine Pathway

Histamine Pathway

Histamine is found in both intracellular and extracellular compartments. This alone informs us of its importance. When histamine levels are either elevated or depressed, symptoms occur. Identifying deficiencies or blockages within the Histamine Pathway may significantly support one’s biochemistry in the following ways: respiration, alertness, neurotransmission, sleep, body temperature, pulse and heart rate, immunity and digestive motility. Supporting histamine levels may lead to improvements. One must also remember that histamine levels may be increased by diet, stress, nutrient excess, nutrient deficiencies, genetic polymorphisms, infections, molds and more. Thus, targeting histamine itself may not be the answer.*
