Bought and read this, this morning. A quick, informative read. Not all of it is new information, but beyond the basics, there are tools to help refine and focus your understanding of what's going on, and prioritize what to do about it. Where I think it falls short is in the difficulty of representing a very complex subject while still breaking it into simple, applicable ideas. The quizzes are helpful at showing what types of things can be driving your histamine woes, but if you have only a few large triggers or symptoms, or slightly unusual ones, like me, your scores might not accurately reflect your situation.
This book said nothing beyond the most general about my troubles. That's not exactly what it's designed to do, but I might have thought, after reading this, that histamine was not the problem. Luckily, I was able to find this information elsewhere, after 3 difficult pregnancies, years of therapy for vivid nightmares and nighttime panic attacks, multiple unhelpful ER visits... it was a magical combo of SIBO, pregnancy hormones, environmental hydrogen sulfide, and hypoxia. Again, while most of these are loosely mentioned, I could have read this workbook through and never made those connections. Unexpectedly pregnant again, and wishing there was a full section, here, especially since I don't have a good local health practitioner handy. Maybe someday there will be a full-length book?
That said, it's cheap enough, I'd give it this download a try. It can definitely help you…
