You have a gene called DAO. This gene makes an enzyme that has one job to do. This one job is to break down histamine found in various parts of your body.

How to Use Histamine Digest

When taken with meals, Histamine Digest helps break down histamine found in foods and drinks. Histamine will be at a healthy level which helps eliminate feelings related to histamine intolerance.†‡

When taken on an empty stomach, Histamine Digest helps break down histamine produced from the microbiome or your gut’s immune system. It’s a good idea to try taking Histamine Digest on an empty stomach to see if you feel better. If you do feel better, then you may have an unhealthy microbiome, or an active gut immune system, that’s producing high amounts of histamine.

Histamine Digest may support healthy levels of histamine within the small intestine, colon, kidneys, appendix, placenta, prostate, or testicles. This is very important as unhealthy levels of histamine within these areas contribute to problems locally or throughout the body.†

Children 4 years of age and older may use Histamine Digest. You may need to open the small capsule and mix in a bite of applesauce if they cannot swallow the small capsule.

    It's comforting to have Histamine Block nearby for those meals where the potential for histamine havoc lies in wait.

    Does it completely eliminate the rise of those 'kick-you-in-the-pants' kind of histamine moments - each and every time?

    ~ Well ... no.

    If you go overboard with too many hissy fit foods in one sitting - or persist on challenging your gut to a histamine showdown - you may be disappointed.

    But then again, this unfortunate fact would apply to any product of this type.

    For me, I wouldn't dare go near a dinner plate without Histamine Block.

    ~ Just not worth it. ~

    This product is great and does work

    This is a good product, but there are instructions do not take more than 15 mins before meals. Other reviews say take right before a meal or with meal. Very different instructions. Which is it? Taking right before you eat is so much easier. The 15 mins before can be difficult and tricky. Sometimes you are just hungry and need/want to eat. And if you go over the 15 mins it is lost in effectiveness. Someone needs to definitely state what is it in terms of effectiveness and timing of this product. It is too expensive to do it wrong. Saying take right before meal is wrong if it needs to be taken 10-15 mins before. Would like an answer on this!e
