Why Histamine Block Works

Histamine is metabolized in your intestines via the DAO enzyme. Due to poor nutrition, genetics, and lifestyle factors, some people produce less DAO than others. How to Use Histamine Block

Suggested Use

Take 1 capsule, as needed, just prior to consuming high histamine foods or drinks. Or, take away from food if wanting to support healthy histamine levels in the digestive tract.†

Do not take Histamine Block without food or drink, OR with low histamine foods or drinks, unless:

  • you know that your microbiome is producing histamine
  • you have inflammatory processes found in the digestive tract, specifically small or large intestines, which may contribute to high histamine levels.

Use as directed by your healthcare professional.

Do not take Histamine Block and knowingly eat foods you are allergic to—it will not prevent allergic reactions.

Warnings

Children and pregnant or lactating women should consult their healthcare practitioner prior to use. This product contains an ingredient derived from porcine (pig). Avoid if allergic to pork or any other ingredient.

‡ Histamine Block is NOT EFFECTIVE for symptoms of immune-related food allergies, such as peanuts, shellfish, etc., or for gluten intolerance due to sensitivity or celiac disease. This involves removing foods from your diet known to cause adverse reactions. A histamine-free diet excludes aged cheeses, cured meats like salami, red wine, avocado, eggplant, tomatoes, fermented foods, and other foods with high histamine levels. Works great

Histamine intolerant … ugggh

This histamine block helps me a bit with my intolerance. I take it before my morning coffee during the time of moth my migraine medication is weak on helping me. I also take it if I am going to splurge on something that is a bit higher in histamine I might not usually be able to eat with out this bit of help ( the DAO this helps supply for a bit).

I’m not saying I can have a histamine food party on this histamine block but I get to splurge once in a while. The tricky part is there are many things that raise the histamine in one’s body not just food. This histamine block tho helps me feel like I can have something special once in a while :).
