Why Zinc Lozenges Works

Zinc is sometimes considered the second most important mineral in the human body after magnesium. Zinc acts as a cofactor for many important enzymes. There are over 3000 proteins in the human body that have zinc binding sites. Some of these proteins are enzymes that require zinc to facilitate reactions in the cells. Zinc helps stabilize antioxidant enzymes like metallothionein and superoxide dismutase. This aids in the normal excretion and transformation of harmful metals and superoxide ions, reducing free radicals.†

Zinc also plays an integral role in stabilizing other proteins called transcription factors. These proteins help read portions of your genes. Suggested Use

Great tasting Zinc lozenges

I've had other zinc lozenges and they were gross. This one tastes great, still dissolves easily and gives all the added benefits of why you are taking zinc to begin with.

zinc lozenge

I’m sure the absorption must be great but I wish the flavours would be more friendly for people sensitive to salicylates. This gives me immediate gastritis even if I take it on a full stomach.
