Taurine 100 Capsules

Product Description

Taurine is an amino acid found in most every system in the body, and is a factor in the healthy functioning of the cardiovascular system and fat metabolism, as well as many other functions. Seeking Health Taurine is formulated to be the best Taurine supplement available, providing 500 mg of Taurine per capsule with no allergenic ingredients.

Taurine has been documented as a preventative factor of stroke, heart attack, and other cardiovascular problems in animal studies1, even as positively affecting cardiovascular function in rats exposed to cigarette smoke2. Further research has suggested that Taurine is a factor in maintaining eye health4, as well as supporting bone density3. Taurine also protects against damage from environmental toxins, partially by restoring intracellular GSH (active from of glutathione, potent liver detoxifying compound)5. Taurine may also be a beneficial nutrient for type 2 diabetes, as it was found in a study to decrease insulin resistance in rats fed a high-fructose diet6.

Seeking Health Taurine is formulated to be a pure, allergen-free Taurine supplement and is laboratory tested to ensure that the finished product meets label potency claims and is free of contaminants. Seeking Health does not use any flow agents or unnecessary fillers, and we go the extra mile to ensure you’re getting the very best supplements available.

    • can taurine cause dry eyes..ever since I take one a day I get really bad dry eyes and I use my restais...
    • I have not heard that connection of taurine and dry eyes. Ensure you are drinking enough water as taurine stimulates bile production and you must keep the bile moving through your digestive system otherwise it will pull water out and dehydrate you. Take taurine only with a large meal. In Health, Dr Ben

    • I noticed the same thing with dry eyes. I have dry eyes by nature and my contact lenses are made specifically for dry eyes. Ever since I started taking Taurine my vision is blurred due to my contacts rotating off center and my eyes not being moist enough to allow them to stay straight. I just have to put drops in to keep them hydrated.
    • Hello - Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and also electrolytes. Taurine stimulates bile production and the increased bile release into the small intestine can draw water into the small intestine to dilute this highly concentrated bile. To me, this is a sign that you need further hydration. Also make sure you only take Taurine with MEALS - not snacks. This way the released bile is dumped onto food instead of an empty small intestine. Best Dr Ben
