The Best Prenatal I Have Ever Had!!

This is honestly a game changer. This was the best prenatal I have ever tried. I did not experience any morning sickness my entire pregnancy !! I ordered the chocolate flavor and it tasted delicious. I have the capsules as well and they work great but I find having the shake easier personally for me plus you can add some fruit to make it even tastier and healthier :) I loved this product so much I continued to use it while nursing. ~Courtney G.

Key Ingredients In Optimal Prenatal Powder

  • Plant-Based Protein: Proprietary blend made of 90% protein by weight. Excellent digestibility. Well-balanced amino acid profile.
  • Vitamin A: Provides the bioavailable form, as retinyl palmitate, to support common BC01 gene variations for optimal eye, mucus membrane, and immune system health.
  • True Folate: Features folate in its bioavailable, active forms of L-5-MTHF (methylfolate) and folinic acid (calcium folinate). Folate supports spine and brain development, healthy genetic expression, and DNA/RNA synthesis.
  • Bioavailable B12: Active forms of B12 are included to support your body’s utilization of folate. Methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin are known as superior forms of vitamin B12 that your body can readily utilize.
  • Choline: Essential for healthy brain development, methylation processes, cell wall strength, and genetic expression during fetal development.
  • Milk Thistle: Key for supporting glutathione production and liver health.
  • Red Raspberry Leaf: Can help support uterine strength and health during labor.
  • Ginger Root & B6: Support stomach comfort and digestion due to occasional nausea or morning sickness.

Why Optimal Prenatal Powder Works

A balanced diet coupled with a high-quality prenatal vitamin can go a long way to promote a healthy pregnancy.

Doctors routinely recommend folate and B12 during pregnancy. These essential nutrients are well-known to reduce the risk of neural tube defects (i.e., spina bifida), as well as other birth defects and pregnancy complications.

Optimal Prenatal Powder was formulated by an epigenetics expert based on the enzymatic pathways involved in pregnancy and genetic development. Arguably, the most critical nutrients required for these pathways are folate and B12.

Optimal Prenatal Powder contains B12 and folate in their methylated forms. Your body needs these active forms for proper methylation, which is essential for healthy fetal development.

Your MTHFR gene converts and produces folate (5-MTHF) from whole foods. However, MTHFR gene variations or lifestyle stress can slow down this gene, causing folate deficiency. It is estimated that over 50% of the population has a mutation in their MTHFR gene.

The artificial version of folate that is often prescribed to pregnant women is called folic acid. This form can slow the MTHFR gene even more. It can even lead to folate deficiency! Folic acid is never included in any of Seeking Health’s dietary supplements. Instead, we use natural and bioavailable forms of folate, including 5-MTHF (methylated) and methyl-free folinic acid (calcium folinate).

By supplementing with the natural form of folate (5-MTHF), you bypass the MTHFR gene. Pre-formed 5-MTHF provides a methyl group attached to folate that can be used in the methylation cycle.

The active or methylated form of vitamin B12 is called methylcobalamin. It is essential for proper folate utilization, methylation, DNA expression, and much more. Without sufficient levels of bioavailable folate and B12, the fetus cannot effectively develop and express its genetics.

This unique formula features vitamin D3 to support baby’s brain development. We’ve included more than 30 important nutrients for pregnancy health. Unlike some other prenatal formulas, Optimal Prenatal Powder contains choline, which is required in higher amounts during pregnancy due to accelerated cell division.

Pregnancy is hard, but choosing your prenatal doesn’t need to be. If you’re looking for one of the best prenatal protein powders on the market, Optimal Prenatal Powder is for you.

Great Product, but very Unreliable Company

This product is wonderful and it is one that I have loved to incorporate in my daily routine.

However, the company has been extremely unreliable and unprofessional with ensuring constant supply. This product has been back-ordered since the beginning of the year, and the estimates of when it will be back in stock are continuously changing and being pushed back without notification or definitive answers. Every-time I have asked, the answer has changed or the problem for why it is delayed has also changed...

As someone who was relying on this product as part of their health routine and also recommending it to clients, I find it extremely disappointing. I hope the company can do a better job in the future for ensuring reliability and quality support. This has been one of the worst experiences with constant product delays and unavailability I have seen. For anyone looking for a product to add to their routine that is reliable, especially if you are using this in preparation to conceive or during your pregnancy, I highly suggest seeking a product you know will have access to and that you can rely on.

WHY IS THIS ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK?

I've been wanting to try this since I have been using the Optimal Prenatal but I would like to switch because taking 8 pills a day can be a little tough.

I'm so disappointed everytime I check, and I check often to see if it's back in stock. It's never in stock :(

    Great supplement powder!

My body is super sensitive and I cannot tolerate most supplements. I still cannot take this every day, but I try to take it every other day and I noticeably have more energy when taking it. I cannot tolerate the chocolate version, but I can tolerate the vanilla version OK. I still would rather have less additives (no cane sugar, stevia, etc.), but I know that I am in the minority in that I do not care how it tastes and instead would prefer it to be as pure as possible with the least number of ingredients as possible. I am really thankful that it has vegetarian protein sources and not whey because I cannot handle whey protein. This has been out of stock for a long time and I wish it would come back in stock!
