When We Give Back - They Grow!

At Seeking Health we have a strong commitment to supporting youth – and families!

Genetics isn’t just science to us, it’s a thread through time that ties us all to one another.

That’s why, for the entire month of August, we’ll be donating a portion of our proceeds to two non-profit organizations: TACA and Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County.

In case you don’t know, TACA stands for “Talk About Curing Autism” and with 1 in 59 children being diagnosed with autism, it is something we passionately support.

In 1970 that number was 1 in TEN THOUSAND...

Something is going wrong, and at Seeking Health, we want to be part of what helps turn the tide.

We know that brain health is an important key to ALL health, and supporting TACA – AND the Boys & Girls Clubs to help kids be more active and social – that’s music to our ears!

Join us in helping to bring a smile to these little ones' faces!

A little bit more on these organizations:

TACA - Talk About Curing Autism

Talk About Curing Autism (TACA) is a national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to educating, empowering and supporting families affected by autism.

For families who have just received the autism diagnosis, TACA aims to speed up the cycle time from the autism diagnosis to effective treatments.

TACA helps to strengthen the autism community by connecting families and the professionals who can help them, allowing them to share stories and information to help improve the quality of life for people with autism.

For more information on their services, please visit them here -> https://tacanow.org/.

And this year, Dr. Ben Lynch will be a featured speaker at their Autism Conference on October 19th in Costa Mesa, CA.

In his presentation he will be discussing genetics and autism. If you are interested in attending or would like more information on it, that all can be found here: https://tacanow.org/conference/.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County

boys-girls-club-whatcom

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Whatcom County was founded in 1946 with the mission of "enabling all young people, especially those who need us most to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."

Each day after school and during the school vacations hundreds of kids ages 6-18 enter four Clubhouses to enjoy a nutritious meal and engage in an array of life enhancing programs.

The three focus areas of The Boys & Girls Clubs are academic success, healthy lifestyles and good citizenship.  This three-pronged approach allows them to support the overarching needs of the youth in the community.

We are beyond grateful to have teamed up with these two outstanding non-profits because they align closely with our core values.

We continuously strive to improve, to educate, and to implement practices that will leave a positive lasting impression on future generations.

If you are interested in learning more on genetics and autism, Dr. Ben Lynch's had the honor to present to hundreds of parents at the TACA conference in October of 2017.

His presentation, 'Where do you start?' - Genetic and Advanced Lab Testing, is full of great informative – and fun – material to learn "Where to Start."

You can watch it here https://www.drbenlynch.com/where-to-start-with-autism/.

If you have any stories or experiences with either organization that you'd like to share, please feel free to comment below.

We hope our contribution will help immensely.

Have a healthy, happy August!

And don't forget, every purchase you make in the month of August will help support this effort!
