Who Needs Prenatal Essentials MF

If you already live a healthy lifestyle, including a balanced diet, you may just need a few essentials to support a healthy pregnancy.

Prenatal Essentials MF is a concise yet powerful prenatal multivitamin. It supports methylation with bioavailable, methyl-free forms of key pregnancy nutrients.

Do you get side effects from methylated nutrients? Some people experience nervousness, headaches, or rapid heartbeat when they take methylcobalamin and methylfolate. Yet, these active forms of vitamin B12 and folate are required for a healthy and successful pregnancy.

(Wondering if you’re sensitive to methyl donors? This article will help you determine if you need methyl-free supplements.)

Customer Review

Clean, High Quality and Worth It!

This is the only prenatal vitamin that doesn’t upset my stomach, and that helps me digest and absorb the nutrients well. I’m so grateful for this product as I get ready to hopefully start my motherhood journey in the future!

Key Ingredients In Prenatal Essentials MF

  • True Folate: As folinic acid, a non-methylated folate. Bioavailable folate is essential for baby’s DNA and RNA synthesis. It is also required for healthy genetic, spinal, and brain development.
  • Bioavailable B12: Adeno- and Hydroxo-cobalamin are non-methylated forms of vitamin B12. These bioavailable forms support healthy energy production and detoxification. Your body requires vitamin B12 to utilize folate for methylation processes.
  • Vitamin A: The bioavailable form of retinyl palmitate supports common BC01 gene variations for optimal eye, mucus membrane, and immune system health.
  • Lutein & Zeaxanthin: Marigold flower extract provides these important carotenoids to support healthy vision and eye development.
  • Magnesium: As DiMagnesium Malate, supports over 400 enzymes in the body. Magnesium promotes a positive mood, healthy muscle and nerve function, and hormone balance.

Why Prenatal Essentials MF Works

A balanced diet coupled with a high-quality prenatal vitamin can go a long way to promote a healthy pregnancy.

Yet the majority of bioavailable prenatals on the market contain methylated ingredients like methylfolate...until now.

Prenatal Essentials MF was formulated to be free from methylfolate and methylcobalamin. This does not mean it goes without these two essential B vitamins!

This product contains non-methylated folate in the form of folinic acid (calcium folinate). It also has non-methylated vitamin B12 in two active forms, hydroxocobalamin and adenosylcobalamin.

Your body converts these non-methyl forms into the forms required for methylation. For example, folinic acid undergoes three enzymatic steps before it is converted into 5-MTHF (methylfolate). Adenosylcobalamin and hydroxocobalamin are both readily metabolized into cobalamin. The body uses this cobalamin to make the methylcobalamin needed for methylation.

The additional enzyme steps slow the delivery of methylated nutrients to your system. This can significantly reduce or eliminate the side effects in those sensitive to methyl groups.

These naturally occurring forms of folate and B12 are considered bioavailable. They indirectly support methylation, even in those with MTHFR gene mutations. With true, sufficient folate and B12, the fetus’ healthy development and genetic expression via methylation is supported.

Folic acid is never included in any of our Seeking Health prenatals or dietary supplements. This artificial version of folate is not well utilized by the body. Folic acid must go through several enzymatic steps before being converted into methylfolate. Its inefficient chemical structure can even slow your MTHFR, SLC191A, and DHFR enzymes to the point of folate deficiency!

Pregnancy is hard enough. You shouldn’t be struggling with side effects related to your prenatal too. Now, you can provide your body and baby with bioavailable nutrition...without the headache of methyl donors.

Say goodbye to the side effects and hello to Prenatal Essentials MF!

    Felt great all three trimesters!

These vitamins were great, my midwife even thought so, just recommend I add in more vitamin D. Took these a few months before conceiving. Felt great my entire pregnancy and now that baby is here I’ll continue taking them postpartum.
