Vitamin A Drops by Seeking Health are a vegetarian liquid supplement providing 5,025 IU of vitamin A per single drop. This important nutrient plays an essential role in healthy immune function and vision, normal growth and development, and the health of skin and mucous membranes. Vitamin A Drops can be taken by anyone wishing to optimize their vitamin A intake or requiring supplemental vitamin A, especially those who have trouble swallowing traditional pills or capsules.*
As a fat-soluble nutrient, vitamin A may be more difficult for some individuals to absorb than water-soluble vitamins. Fat-soluble nutrients require a complex series of reactions, involving bile and pancreatic acids, enzymes, and transport proteins for absorption and utilization within the body. Unfortunately, these body processes may be less efficient in individuals with certain health conditions, and also depend on individual enzyme activity levels and dietary considerations. To support optimal absorption in light of these challenges, this product provides vitamin A in micellized form, using a unique process to create extremely small, water-soluble arrangements that may be more easily absorbed and assimilated.*
Vitamin A Drops can be conveniently mixed with foods or liquid and allow maximal control of dosing to meet individual needs. Each single drop provides 5,000 IU of vitamin A palmitate and 25 IU of beta-carotene (known as “provitamin A”), a phytonutrient with vitamin A activity. Carotenoids such as beta-carotene are the primary form of vitamin A found in plants. These compounds can be converted within the body into vitamin A as needed. On the other hand, preformed vitamin A includes retinol and retinyl esters (such as the vitamin A palmitate in this product), which naturally occur only in animal products. The vitamin A palmitate used in this product is synthetic and suitable for vegetarians.*
Take 1 drop daily with food or beverage or as directed by your healthcare professional.

- Great method for fortifying food
Quality Purity Effectiveness
Because research on vitamin A shows that it works best with vitamin D and vitamin K2, I also use vitamin D drops and the powder from the inside of vitamin K2 menatetranone capsules to add all three since most foods have little D3 or K2.
My understanding from Weston A. Price Foundation writings by Chris Masterjohn is that the ideal vitamin A to D ratio needs to be around 5 to 8 IU of vitamin A per 1 IU of vitamin D. Without also adding vitamins D and K2, there is a risk of toxicity from vitamin A.
The one quality improvement I can see to this product would be some easier way to get the last bit out of the bottle so none goes to waste. I end up adding some hot water to the bottle and that helps carry the remaining vitamin A out to be mixed into some food, but this works best with broths, soups, and stews. (Posted on 3/22/2015)

My only "complaint" (not really complaining) is that its hard to only get one drop. You have to be very careful when squeezing it in. Also, it has a very strong taste (like very potent carrots) when putting directly into mouth.
