I love this book. But I have trouble implementing it. I really respect and trust the writer. I feel like he has the answers in a way that I don't believe traditional doctors do. I like his holistic approach to medicine. If you read Clean by Alejandro Junger, this has the same effect on me as it looks at creating health in the body as opposed to fixing illness. However, just reading the book and even going a little further with genetic testing, I don't have anymore answers than before I started. I've learned a lot but it's all overwhelming.
As I've gotten older, I've become less interested in traditional medicine and the way it treats symptoms and feel that people like Dr. Lynch and Dr. Junger have a better solution, trying to address root causes of issues. That's what Dirty Genes aims to do. I think the book might have the answers but it's another thing to be able to implement it. Especially with the young men I aimed to help.
I have 3 sons and 2 of them have been diagnosed with ADHD. The oldest 22 never got used to medicine and it has been a roller coaster.
