  • Potent dose of bioavailable B12 in a delicious lozenge
  • Healthy methylation and MTHFR support
  • Supports healthy homocysteine levels

Who Needs Active B12 5000

Your body prefers bioavailable nutrients. This means few (or no) enzymatic steps are required to transform it into a usable form. The two most bioactive forms of B12 are methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin.

Bioavailability is particularly crucial when working to replenish vitamin B12 levels. Ideally, B12 is also in a format that supports optimal digestion and absorption, such as a lozenge.

Active B12 5000 provides a potent dose of bioavailable vitamin B12 in a delicious, well-absorbed lozenge. Each serving contains a 5,000 mcg mixture of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin.

You need steady energy to feel your best. Vitamin B12 plays important roles in energy production and much more.

Vitamin B12 is essential for:

  • Cognitive function
  • Red blood cell formation
  • Methylation
  • Homocysteine recycling
  • Cardiovascular health
  • DNA production and expression
  • Nervous system health and development

Vitamin B12 deficiency is common. It is one of the most difficult nutrients for your body to absorb and utilize. Symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency can include fatigue, memory issues, and tingling in your toes or fingers.

Factors such as genetic mutations, low stomach acid, a vegetarian or vegan diet, and insufficient intrinsic factor (pernicious anemia) can all contribute to low B12 levels. For these reasons, it’s critical to consume B12 in bioavailable, optimally-absorbed forms.

Active B12 5000 provides bioactive forms of vitamin B12 that your body can readily recognize and utilize. These delicious lozenges are designed to be rapidly digested and absorbed through your intestines and cell walls.

Most B12 dietary supplements contain the active ingredient cyanocobalamin. Before it can be used, your liver must first convert cyanocobalamin into an active form and discard the cyanide. In addition, it appears that the body uses methylcobalamin more efficiently than cyanocobalamin.

Here at Seeking Health, you’ll never find the cyanide-containing form, cyanocobalamin. Instead, you’ll only find bioavailable forms of vitamin B12 that your body can quickly recognize and utilize.

Active B12 5000 provides a potent dose of vitamin B12 in the bioactive forms of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. These delicious, well-absorbed lozenges support healthy methylation, MTHFR, and homocysteine levels.

How much vitamin B12 do you need?

Everyone has different needs for vitamin B12. Work with a qualified healthcare professional to determine the best dose for your individual needs.

Active B12 5000 provides a potent dose of 5,000 mcg (5 mg) per serving. The lozenges can be broken down into halves or quarters if a smaller dose is desired.

  • For a lower dose of vitamin B12 per lozenge (1,000 mcg), consider Active B12 1000.
  • For a similar product without the methyl B12, consider Adeno B12.
  • For vitamin B12 in the form of hydroxocobalamin, consider Hydroxo B12.

It’s never been easier (or tastier!) to support optimal B12 levels in your body. Add Active B12 5000 to your methylation support protocol for optimal wellness.

Customer Review

Trusted Product

My body energy improves with daily B12 and at 67 years old, I really appreciate that. I trust the science and integrity behind Seeking Health products, so this has been my go to for years.

Key Ingredients In Active B12 5000

  • Vitamin B12: Included in two active coenzyme forms, methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin. These bioavailable forms help methylfolate donate methyl groups for optimal DNA expression. They also support the transformation of food energy into cellular energy.

Why Active B12 5000 Works

Folate needs the help of vitamin B12 for proper methylation.

Do you take methylfolate to support methylation and homocysteine metabolism? These processes cannot happen with methylfolate alone. They also require adequate B12.

With the help of B12, supplemental methylfolate bypasses the MTHFR enzyme and is brought into the methylation pathway via the MTR enzyme. Ultimately, methylfolate donates its methyl groups to regulate DNA expression, healthy homocysteine levels, and much more.

Without sufficient bioavailable B12, you cannot effectively break down the amino acid homocysteine to methionine. Your body needs methyl B12 and methylfolate for this to happen. Elevated homocysteine levels have been correlated with cardiovascular concerns.

If you have an MTHFR genetic mutation, you may need additional support for methylation and recycling homocysteine to methionine. The human body uses methylcobalamin to carry out these functions.

Adenosylcobalamin is a methyl-free, bioavailable form of B12. Also known as Adeno B12, it is found in your cells’ mitochondria to support energy production. Here, it acts as a coenzyme to create energy (ATP) from cholesterol, branched-chain amino acids, odd chain fatty acids, and propionate. It does this by converting a derivative of these compounds into succinyl-CoA. This compound can then enter the Krebs cycle to generate cellular energy (ATP).

Methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin can both enter the cell’s cobalamin pool. When needed, your body pulls cobalamin from this pool to use in various processes, including methylation and homocysteine breakdown.

Active B12 5000 provides a potent dose of methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin in a delicious, optimally-absorbed lozenge. For a lower dose, consider Active B12 1000. Because B12 needs folate to support proper methylation, be sure to pair Active B12 5000 with a bioactive form of folate, such as L-5-MTHF Lozenge.

It’s never been tastier (or easier) to support healthy methylation, homocysteine levels, and energy!

How to Enhance Active B12 5000

1

Consider Pulsing

Dr. Ben Lynch recommends using certain dietary supplements based on your need for them. Start with a partial serving and increase slowly over time to the full serving, only if needed. When you start feeling good, consider reducing the serving size, skipping days, or pausing supplementation. Then take again when you feel you need it (stressful day, traveling, chemical exposure, etc.), hence "pulsing." Work with your qualified healthcare practitioner to determine what's best for you.

2

Pairs Well With

L-5-MTHF Lozenge, as B12 and folate work together to support healthy methylation. PQQ Lozenge, as your methylation pathway functions best in the presence of low oxidative stress. Optimal Magnesium, to support methylation-dependent enzymes.

3

Clean Your Genes

After years of suffering from unexplainable health issues, Dr. Ben Lynch, ND discovered the root cause - "dirty" genes. Excellent Product

My primary care doctor recommended this specific product to me years ago and I've been taking it along with the L-5- MTHF ever since. The active form of B12 was what I needed and both are excellent products and I highly recommend.

    Taste good

I have tried a lot of B12 in the lozenges and this one is very good. It dissolves fast and while I can't measure the benefits in how I feel I know it is a valuable vitamin and the dosage is good.

    Trusting the Doc

My husband likes taking these. Whether they work or not, I can’t say and when I ask him, he’s not sure either. But he’s used to taking them and they aren’t going to hurt anything so he continues to take them. I believe he takes two every morning. So we are trusting in the Doc on this one.
